Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Confirm that test reports originate from nominated third-party labs or accredited in-house supplier labs, ensuring encryption and adherence to authorized physical testing requirements.
∎ Coordinate with PQM and third-party labs to clarify testing items, requirements, and feedback on test performance.
∎ Examine failed garment and fabric samples, determine the next steps (e.g., retesting), and communicate decisions to suppliers.
∎ Assist the Garment Technician team with product safety checks and provide recommendations for safety testing.
∎ Inspect GSS samples for safety issues, including components like buttons, zippers, fasteners, drawstrings, embellishments, and reject faulty samples while advising suppliers on corrective actions.
∎ Review supplier certifications, including Oeko-Tex, GOTS, and TC/TR documentation, ensuring validation, authentication, and compliance with the system requirements.
∎ Conduct onboarding and training for new suppliers on STRA procedures, organize updates on the Supplier Quality Manual (SQM), and share safety recall cases to enhance awareness and compliance.
