Responsibilities & Context:
Perform structural analysis and design of façade elements: mullions, transoms, brackets, anchors, glass panels, and support frames.
Carry out RCC structure design for beams, slabs, columns, retaining walls, and foundations as needed.
Perform steel structure design for frames, trusses, platforms, façade supports, and custom metal structures.
Calculate wind load, dead load, live load, seismic load, and other required structural parameters as per BNBC, ACI, and ASTM standards.
Prepare, review, and verify structural calculation reports for façade, RCC, and steel structure work.
Develop and review structural drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with architects, MEP team, production team, procurement, and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
Attend client meetings, consultant meetings, and project coordination meetings to discuss design, progress, and technical clarifications.
Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and façade fixing methodology.
Conduct site inspections, structural safety checks, alignment verification, façade installation checks, and prepare inspection reports.
Ensure all structural work follows BNBC 2020, ACI, ASTM, BS, and Eurocode where applicable.
Prepare technical documentation, BOQs, load schedules, and engineering reports.
Support the project team in solving on-site structural problems and providing timely engineering solutions.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders and ensure smooth workflow from design to execution.
