Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Additional training or certification in façade engineering, structural analysis, construction management, or project management will be considered an advantage.
PMP certification or equivalent project-management qualification will be preferred.
Mandatory Experience
A minimum of five years of direct and relevant experience in the façade industry is mandatory.
Candidates without practical façade-industry experience will not be considered.
The candidate should have proven experience in façade design, engineering, fabrication, installation, project management, quality control, vendor management, and site execution.
Experience in managing medium- to large-scale commercial, residential, industrial, institutional, or government façade projects is preferred.
Significant experience in the façade line, particularly in technically complex and high-value projects, will be strongly preferred.
Knowledge of software such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, SJ Mepla, LogiKal, Orgadata, or other relevant façade and structural-analysis software will be considered a strong advantage.

Position Summary
DTech Corporation Limited is seeking a highly experienced and technically capable Project Manager – Façade Engineering & Projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing façade projects from system design and structural analysis through procurement, fabrication, installation, quality control, and final handover. The candidate will also oversee vendor coordination, labor management, project-level human resources activities, and quality-control operations across all projects of the company.
Extensive practical experience in the façade industry is mandatory. Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in façade system design, structural analysis, project execution, workforce supervision, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Coordination
Assist the Project Engineers in planning, executing, monitoring, and completing multiple façade projects.
Prepare and monitor project schedules, work programs, budgets, manpower plans, procurement schedules, and resource allocations.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural engineers, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal departments.
Conduct regular project meetings, site inspections, and progress reviews.
Prepare progress reports, technical submissions, method statements, meeting minutes, variation documents, and project handover records.
Identify project risks, delays, technical challenges, and resource shortages and implement corrective measures.
Ensure projects are completed safely, within budget, according to specification, and within the approved timeframe.
Façade System Design and Engineering
The candidate must have the full technical capability to independently design, develop, detail, and coordinate façade systems, including:

The candidate will be expected to:
Develop façade system concepts and technical details.
Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, cutting lists, and installation drawings.
Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for coordination.
Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
Coordinate design submissions and approvals with consultants and clients.
Resolve technical, fabrication, and site-related design issues.
Review system performance requirements, including wind load, deflection, water tightness, air tightness, thermal movement, and structural stability.
Façade Structural Analysis
Conduct or supervise structural analysis of façade systems and components.
Perform calculations for wind pressure, structural loads, glass thickness, mullions, transoms, brackets, anchors, fasteners, and supporting members.
Check deflection, stress, load transfer, and structural adequacy of façade components.
Prepare or review structural calculation reports for consultant approval.
Coordinate with structural engineers and testing agencies where required.
Ensure all façade systems comply with applicable international codes, project specifications, and safety requirements.
Preference will be given to candidates with proven hands-on experience using façade structural-analysis software or engineering calculation tools.
Vendor and Procurement Management
Identify, evaluate, appoint, and manage local and international vendors, suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors.
Obtain and compare technical and commercial quotations.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, warranties, and technical requirements.
Ensure purchased materials comply with approved specifications, samples, and quality standards.
Monitor supplier performance, material lead times, production status, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate procurement activities with project schedules and site requirements.
Maintain strong professional relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
Address vendor-related quality, delivery, and contractual issues.
Quality Control and Quality Assurance
The Deputy Project Manager will oversee quality-control activities for all company projects and will be responsible for ensuring consistent standards from material procurement through project handover.
Establishing and implementing project-specific QA/QC procedures.
Inspecting incoming materials, aluminum profiles, glass, panels, accessories, sealants, hardware, and fasteners.
Monitoring fabrication quality in the factory and installation quality at project sites.
Ensuring all work complies with approved shop drawings, method statements, specifications, and samples.
Preparing inspection checklists, inspection requests, quality reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective-action records.
Coordinating mock-ups, performance tests, water tests, and other required façade testing.
Conducting regular factory and site quality audits.
Managing snagging, rectification, final inspection, and project handover.
Training engineers, supervisors, technicians, and installers on quality requirements.
Maintaining company-wide quality standards across all active projects.
Labor and Workforce Management
Plan and manage labor requirements for all projects.
Allocate workers, technicians, installers, supervisors, and subcontractor teams according to project needs.
Monitor labor attendance, productivity, discipline, performance, and efficiency.
Ensure proper deployment of skilled and unskilled labor across project sites.
Coordinate mobilization, transfer, accommodation, transportation, and demobilization of project labor where necessary.
Resolve labor-related disputes, operational issues, and disciplinary matters.
Ensure workers comply with company policies, safety procedures, quality requirements, and site regulations.
Monitor subcontractor manpower and productivity.
Coordinate training and skill development for installation and fabrication teams.
Maintain accurate labor records, deployment plans, performance reports, and productivity data.
Human Resources Responsibilities
In addition to project responsibilities, the candidate will support selected HR functions related to technical and project personnel.
Assist in recruiting engineers, supervisors, technicians, draftsmen, fabricators, installers, and project staff.
Participate in interviews, technical assessments, and candidate evaluations.
Support employee onboarding, orientation, deployment, and probation reviews.
Assess staff performance and recommend confirmation, promotion, training, transfer, or disciplinary action.
Help establish job responsibilities, reporting structures, and performance targets for project teams.
Coordinate employee attendance, leave, discipline, and workplace conduct with the HR department.
Identify training needs and arrange technical, safety, quality, and supervisory training.
Support employee grievance handling and workplace conflict resolution.
Ensure project staff follow company rules, policies, and professional standards.
Provide management with manpower-performance reports and recommendations.
Site Execution and Construction Management
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, installers, and labor teams.
Ensure façade installation follows approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications.
Monitor daily progress, site productivity, safety, material usage, and workmanship.
Resolve technical and coordination issues during fabrication and installation.
Ensure proper handling, storage, protection, and installation of façade materials.
Coordinate with other trades to prevent clashes and delays.
Oversee testing, commissioning, snag rectification, cleaning, and project handover.
Ensure all projects follow health, safety, and environmental requirements.
