∎ Must have B.Sc & M.Sc in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Environmental Science.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for Biological ETP Operation, Chemical Management, Environmental Management & Industrial waste management
∎ Oversee daily activities of team members to maintain Social & environmental compliance standard.
∎ To conduct self-assessment on HIGG Index, Guide & develop respective factories as per HIGG Index (Social & Environment Module).
∎ Implementation of Chemical Management system (Purchase to Disposal) as per the requirements like ZDHC, Detox, BCMP Guidelines.
∎ Training on chemical management & environmental awareness among the staffs & workers.
∎ Responsible for testing and monitoring of ZDHC waste water test for all wet processing units and updating the same in ZDHC gateway.
∎ Internal control of the Effluent Treatment Plant. Also, testing and monitoring of the ETP and prepare the reports of measurements of the internal monitoring.
∎ Preparing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report and Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
∎ Maintain Good liaison with Department of Environment (DoE), Buyers & stack holders
∎ Practical knowledge to handling chemical related signs, posters, warning signals and written directions, labeling MSDS and proper document.
∎ Practical knowledge to communicate with different buyers like H&M, ZARA, C & A, Esprit, Tom-Tailor, Gina-Tricot, Mango, Inditex, COS, GUESS
∎ Practical experience to determine percentage of Hydrogen peroxide, Caustic, Acetic acid, Soda ash, Sulfuric acid, Hydrochloric acid, Formic acid, Acetic acid, Bi-carbonate, and to analyze any type of chemicals
∎ To develop Plant performance day by day and reducing treatment cost perfectly.
∎ Operation & maintenance of Biological & Biochemical ETP Plant independently.
∎ Ensure waste water analysis result as per ECR Act and proper guideline for chemical dosing.
∎ To deal about the chemical restriction & MSDS of all Chemicals
∎ Developing quality control of water according to buyer and pollution control teams.
∎ Handling ETP Laboratory and eligibility waste water test like Color, PH, BOD, COD, MLSS, SVI, Ammonia as nitrogen, phosphorus, TDS, TSS, SO42-, NO22-, NO33-, N2, DO, Turbidity, Heavy metal test both method like titrato-metric and automation.

∎ Age at least 29 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent interpersonal, written & oral communication skills.
∎ Should have good knowledge on MS Office and E-mail operation.
∎ Long time & hard working mentality.
∎ Candidates must have speaking & writing ability both in Bengali and English.
