∎ Proficiency in network administration and security best practices.
∎ Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
∎ Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to prioritize and resolve issues effectively.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We're on the lookout for a talented SysOps Engineer to join our team and help us drive our mission of providing exceptional online shopping experiences.
∎ Responsibilities:
∎ - Monitor system performance by regularly checking logs, resource utilization, and performance data.
∎ - Deploy and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerized platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
∎ - Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
∎ - Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and enforce secure configurations across systems and environments.
∎ - Develop and manage backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
∎ - Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, automating account management tasks where possible.
∎ - Oversee network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls, ensuring secure and efficient operations.
∎ - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment of software.
∎ Install, configure, and update operating systems and software packages, ensuring systems are up-to-date and secure.
∎ - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues.
