Key Responsibilities:
1. Operating Systems Management:
Expertise in Linux/Unix (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.
Proficient in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP configuration.
2. Server & Storage Management:
Manage physical and virtual servers (e.g., DELL EMC), including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Administer SAN/NAS storage systems and implement backup and recovery solutions (Veeam, Acronis, Commvault).
3. Database Administration:
Basic understanding of database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
Perform database backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
4. Software & Data Analysis:
Proficient in Retail ERP systems and statistical software development.
Analyze data to support management requirements.
5. Security & Compliance:
Implement security best practices, including intrusion detection, firewall management, and system hardening.
Apply updates, patches, and ensure access control mechanisms are in place.
