Master’s degree in HRM, Business Administration, or a relevant field (MBA with HR major preferred).

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration, preferably in Banks/NBFIs.

  • Sound knowledge of labour law, compliance issues, Human Resources and Administration analytics, and organizational behavior.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage change.

  • Experience in handling Human Resources and Administration issues under regulatory scrutiny will be an added advantage.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Bengali and English (spoken and written) are mandatory. Special emphasis will be given to proficiency in typing and drafting official documents in Bengali.

Job Summary:

The Head of Human Resources and Administration will be responsible for leading all aspects of the HR function, including organizational development, talent management, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strategic insight, leadership capabilities, and an in-depth understanding of labor laws, Bangladesh Bank regulations, and modern HR practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Human Resources and Administration strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.

  • Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Bangladesh Bank Human Resources and

  • Administration guidelines, and internal policies.

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes.

  • Design and manage performance evaluation and reward systems.

  • Oversee employee engagement, grievance management, and disciplinary procedures.

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the Board and senior management on organizational restructuring and manpower planning.

  • Maintain Human Resources and Administration MIS and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.

  • Liaise with regulators and represent the organization during audits or Human Resources and Administration related inspections.
