Experience:
LLB, LLM, MBM from any reputed university (degree from reputed public university will get preference). At least two first Division/Class (Equivalent GPA/CGPA) and no 3rd Division/Class (Equivalent GPA/CGPA) in any academic result is acceptable.
Experience Requirements:
At least five years’ experience in any bank or financial institution including two years’ experience in Legal and Recovery department in any bank or financial institution. Must have In-depth knowledge of the Companies Act-1994, The Financial Institution Act-2023, NI Act, Artha Rin Adalat, the Income Tax Act 2023, the Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act 2012, the Labor Law-2006, BB Guidelines, DFIM Circulars and BB circulars as applicable for NBFI. Clear ideas about the functions of Courts and other legal aspects. Excellent drafting and communication skills in both Bengali and English (spoken and written) are mandatory. Special emphasis will be given to proficiency in typing and drafting official documents in Bengali.

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced professional to join our Legal & Recovery Department.
Job Summary:
Act as a representative of the company to appear at the court for various cases (NI Act, Artha Rin & other cases). Regular follow up the pending cases which under processing of Artha Rin case, N.I Act case & Company related other Legal issues. Act as an agent to recover the debits and monitor default clients. The employee has to co-ordinate with all departments of Aviva Finance Limited. He should maintain interpersonal relationships with the Legal & Recovery Department, Credit Administration Department and Investment Department.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare various notices against defaulter clients.
Deal with the problematic clients as well as visiting them frequently.
Regular appearance at court for various cases (N. I Act, 420/406 & Artha Rin).
Regular follow up under processing of Artha Rin & N. I Act cases
Prepare and send letters to the Lawyers for initiating various cases
Keep constant contact with Lawyers for legal matter
Prepare Artha Rin cases & NI Act cases filling papers and related documents
Recovery of Write off, SME & corporate client
Prepared for Bangladesh Bank Reports
Other tasks assigned from management time to time
