Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting/Management
∎ Chartered Accountancy Course from any reputed CA firm.

Job Context:
∎ To conduct Internal Audit of ACF support department, partner for contributing fundamental principles of good financial management are followed throughout all of ACF activities. This includes ensuring accountability, transparency, consistency and integrity of resource utilization by projects and offices within operation in ACF ;
∎ To assist line Manager for reducing risks linked with noncompliance, mainly for donor contracts, ACF policy and government policy and procedure;
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Assist line manager for ensuring effectiveness & efficiency of ACF operations through conducting internal audit.
∎ Conduct internal audit of ACF programs and support department (i.e. HR, Finance & Log) as per annual audit plan and audit program
∎ Visit projects at field level to check and inspect financial matters and recommend to the line manager the matter involving financial & Donor & regulatory compliance & performance.
∎ For each audit assignment filter important transactions of a certain period and evaluate all compliance;
∎ As a team m ember conduct inventory, records, assets, payrolls, cash on hand, tax statements and use the information to guide financial policy
∎ Make recommendations to line Manager regarding facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures and systems to carry out internal control functions
∎ Document audit process and prepare draft audit report & submit to Line Manager;
∎ Willingness to undertake significant travel and work under difficult conditions;
∎ Strong cultural awareness and be able to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
∎ Verify and maintain internal control checks and records including assets tags to ensure safeguard of ACF assets .
∎ Demonstrate standards of ethics and integrity.
∎ Objective 2: Assist line manager for ensuring effectiveness & efficiency of Partner Organization through conducting internal audit.
∎ Perform internal audit of ACF Partner Organization as per annual audit plan and audit program
∎ Review & identify any noncompliance of Sub Grant Agreement, Donor compliances, NGOAB's & NBR rules also.
∎ Ensure the accuracy & reliability and transparency of record keeping & documentations of Partner Organisations
∎ Documents all testing procedures in audit work papers, and prepares detailed written observations following ACF existing reporting format.
∎ Conduct follow-up of financial, operational or regulatory compliance deficiencies noted during audits.
∎ Submit draft audit report to line manager
∎ Ensure proper filing and dispatch of audit report
∎ Objective 3: Assist Investigation team as a team member.
∎ Conduct investigation part of a team member based on Terms of Reference (TOR) and identify genuine facts as per assignment
∎ Prepare and present reports that reflect investigation results and document process;
∎ Preserve adequate supporting papers (softcopy and hard copy) in the working file that retained in accordance with the TOR and standard practices.
∎ Objective 4: Assist line Manager for preventing fraud & corruptions.
∎ Identify any risks of fraud and corruption in daily ACF operations & report to line Manager;
∎ Immediately alerting the Line Manager' to cases of fraud and corruption and undertaking corrective action;
∎ Recommend to Line Manager on day-to-day control of fraud or corruption.
∎ Objective 5: Provide other supports based on organizational need.
∎ Assist line Manager for preparation of program wise scope of audit, audit program, check list and permanent file structure
∎ Assess, evaluate and promote compliance to ACF operation;
∎ Assist line Manager to improve existing audit tools
∎ Objective 7: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACF gender minimum standards and child protection policies asking question and /or for support when necessary;
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection taking into account different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equality principles in all policies and activities
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and committee;
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited to manageable disabilities
∎ Maintains communication with proper channel;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 (three) years' proven work experience related to audit probably as an Internal Audit Officer or Senior Audit Officer any national or International NGO's;
∎ Ability to conduct special Investigation;
∎ Experience of presenting reports and analyzing data;
∎ Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases;
∎ High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
∎ Sound independent judgement (ability to think objectively, have strong ethical standards, as well as high level of Integrity to adhere to regulations and compliance;
∎ Good communication skill
∎ Advanced level of English both writing & spoken.
Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performances;
∎ End of Contract Benefits as per policy.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization cover age medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
