Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Graduation/ Post Graduation major in Woven Manufacturing Technology or Fashion Designing or Apparel Merchandising or Textile Engineering will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to hunt new good customers/buyers.
∎ Able to handle multiple styles at a time independently.
∎ Aware about the Woven & Jacket merchandising.
∎ Analyze sales figures, customer's reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs. Follow up with buyer for the feedback of the price, sample & capacity/space booking.
∎ Make T&A (Time & Action) plan & cross check with IE & planning department to maintain TOD.
∎ Give follow up for production with quality for on time shipment & fulfilling buyer requirements.
∎ Maintain suppliers PI/LC in co-operation with commercial & accounts department as per booking/order.Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales.
∎ Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets.
∎ Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes etc.
∎ Collaborate with every department to ensure operation as per T&A Planning.
∎ Have to be in regular contact with production and quality team as well as buyer to ensure shipment of quality goods.
∎ Have to regular communicate with buyers to take approvals on time.
∎ Have to conduct all the operation through ERP.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Woven, Jacket, Hunting Dress, Denim Pant Merchandising
∎ Proven working experience in merchandising.
∎ Up-to-date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
∎ Candidate should have experience to work with WALMART, C&A, ACEDEMY, & American Buyer.
∎ Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills.
∎ Commercial acumen and the ability to "decode" customers.
