Job Context:
∎ We are an export-oriented buying house. Beside exporting we are also building a brand for domestic market. We are looking a dynamic person who are capable to lead a Merchandising team. Only hardworking and self-motivated employees can join in this challenging workforce.
∎ Job Location: Head office (Sector-12, Uttara, Dhaka)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should be well experienced in Woven merchandising from any Buying House.
∎ Should be highly experienced about domestic band products.
∎ Should have a good knowledge in yarn, fabric, accessories, print & embroidery, sourcing, costing/pricing and T&A etc.
∎ Should have enough factory sourcing power & sufficient negotiation product cost minimization power.
∎ Should have good skill on sample development.
∎ Candidate should be capable of handling orders from different buyers' independently.
∎ Good track record or order follow-up from order confirmation till shipment.
∎ Sound knowledge on overall production (Including fabric consumption, yarn and manufacturing process).
∎ Forecasting production and supply needs, in coordination with the Sales Operations Manager, and budgeting accordingly.
∎ Procurement of raw materials and supplies based on the company's demand and supply.
∎ Should be capable to work under pressure.
∎ To co-ordinate with buyers Q.C
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong interpersonal skills for building collaborative work relationships within the team.
∎ The applicants should must be experience of Woven sector.
∎ Computer Skills - Must be able to operate Microsoft Word/Excel.
∎ Highly experienced of Domestic Band in the country will be get preference.
