Responsibilities & Context:
Context :
We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic professional to join our management team as Sr. Manager / Manager (Technical). The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in garment manufacturing, technical design, pattern making, product development, and ensuring the best quality and production efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical team to ensure proper fit, pattern, grading, and sample development.
- Develop and execute training programs to enhance technical competencies and upskill the workforce in line with industry’s best practices.
- Oversee product development from concept to bulk production while maintaining buyer requirements and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality, technical, and safety standards across all production stages.
- Provide technical solutions to production and merchandising teams to achieve cost-effective production.
- Maintain and monitor ongoing factory evaluations to ensure compliance with technical capabilities, safety standards, quality benchmarks, and efficient manpower utilization. Also liaison with buyers on technical and quality issues.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for technical processes to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
- Lead technical training programs to enhance the skills of the technical workforce.
- Monitor and solve any production-related technical challenges.
