Must have 5 years work experience in the managerial position in social compliance and sustainability.
Good communication skill in Bangla and English.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications.
Sound Knowledge of Labour Law & Rules.
Good working knowledge about customers like Primark, New Look, H&M, etc., compliance requirements.
Responsibilities & Context:
Responsible for sourcing supplier factories that have maintained national and international ethical/social, environmental, safety, and technical standards required by international customers.
Visit supplier factories and ensure social and ethical standards and follow up approval procedures on a regular basis.
Monitor and map the supply chain to ensure social and ethical standards required by international customers.
Conduct periodic audit in the sourcing factories and supply chain factories to ensure issues are resolved.
Prepare a report on the findings and send it to the suppliers responsible to get back the corrective action plan for the next step.
Support and monitor the other concerned/owned factories also and find out and address the nonconformity and provide a sustainable solution to the concerned/responsible person.
Check and review all the data, records, reports as per compliance requirement/standards.
Prepare all reports and correspondences with stakeholders in English & Bengali.
