Additional Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of cutting machinery and fabric cutting optimization.
- Proficiency in Bullmer Spreader and Cutter or similar machines is an added advantage.
- Expertise in cutting room operations, fabric consumption, and waste reduction.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the cutting department to ensure timely and efficient fabric cutting.
- Develop and implement effective cutting strategies and processes to maximize fabric utilization and reduce waste.
- Maintain 100 % compliance at the cutting operation and department.
- Supervise cutting staff, provide training, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Monitor the progress of cutting operations and resolve any issues or bottlenecks in the process.
- Keep Liaison with concern, Merchandiser/Planning/ PM/ Quality Manager/ Factory Head others for day-to-day work.
