∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Fashion Design and Technology, Master of Arts (MA) in Apparel Manufacturing & Merchandising
∎ BGMEA University of Fashion Technology,Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology students will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
CAD, Fashion Designing, Making pattern, Production Management (Washing), Textile
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Buying House
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Should have knowledge on various kinds of fabrics, Knit/Woven, Denim, trims and accessories and ability to select fabrics, embellishments, accessories, colors, or style for each garment.
∎ Should have enough knowledge on apparel Product Design & Development.
∎ Should have creative sense to produce new ideas, concepts, garment construction and pattern.
∎ Candidates are having work experience to handle global buyer will be an extra advantage.
∎ Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Responsibility of Hand Drawing, Cad Drawing Illustrations, Graphic Designs for Product Presentations & Sketches as per buyer requirement.
∎ Need to prepare design sketches and communicate with sample team to make perfect product.
∎ Assist development team to create new pattern.
∎ Visit manufacturers or trade shows to get fabric samples.
∎ Making Flat Sketch of Tops in Adobe Illustrator.
∎ Preparing presentations for buyers' meetings.
∎ To be able to prepare cost sheet.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Fashion design, Buying House, International Brands, Garments, and Textile.
∎ Also have experience in Denim, Knit & Woven and Wash.
∎ Must be familiar with CAD, JPEG, Ai file creation; also need to be very skilled in Graphic designing, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
∎ Knowledge and experience about trend analysis in factory level.
∎ Capable in handling the international buyer's needs by communicating with them independently regarding product details.
∎ Excellent writing, interpersonal & high-level communication skills in English is required.
