∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing and counter sourcing/development of materials, balancing requirements of all relevant stakeholders, with the consultation/ guidance of the superior
∎ Develop and follow up on all embellishments, raw material conversions, complying with the customer/ product requirements and standards
∎ Manage and execution of color development process of the styles adhering to stipulated SOP, meeting customer expectations and standards
∎ Conduct, follow up and assessment of all relevant test results of raw materials and products, adhering to customer requirement and finalize agreed levels for any deviation/ disputes with relevant parties
∎ Manage “1st bulk approval” process meeting customer expectations and standards enabling smooth and timely execution of production start-up
∎ Facilitate development information transformation process to manufacturing plants with the proper handover of color/ fabric technical packs and attending pre-production meetings
∎ Update customer/ company systems and portal in an accurate and timely manner
∎ Carry out raw material inspections as and when required at the production plants
∎ Seek and extend support to superior and relevant parties, in making crucial decisions on non- conformance of raw material
∎ Review fabric qualities chosen for a style and assess the feasibility of the body and trims fabric applications for the particular garment
∎ Review fabric concerns in sample comments and provide solutions
∎ Provide base and bulk fabric test requirements to mills and relevant merchandising teams
∎ Review base and bulk test reports and give feedback communicate with mills and provide solutions for failures
∎ Review lab dips, s/offs and give color comments
∎ Attend to bulk fabric issues at inspection and production stages, visit factories and mills if necessary
∎ Handle vendor approvals in the SAP system
∎ Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role , as and when requested by management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be proficient and fluent in English;
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Must have excellent computer operating skill, particularly in MS Word, Excel and Power Point;
∎ Well Behaved and convincing
∎ 1-2 years of relevant work experience in fabric development and sourcing in the apparel industry
