Educational Requirements:
∎ BBA/MBA Masters or equivalent & five years of experience which includes operation of Ship Breaking, HKC (Hong Kong Convention), Ship Breaking & Recycling Rules or an equivalent combination of education, training & experience.
∎ Skills Required: Ship breaking, ship recycling

∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Ship breaking, ship recycling
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work closely with Ship-breaking Consultant, BSBA, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Industries, and other govt. authority/organization for making Green Ship-breaking yard as per HKC (Hong Kong Convention), Ship Breaking and Recycling Rules 2011, and Bangladesh Ship Recycling Act 2018 and within the timeframe.
∎ Supervises the daily activities of the yard, deploys staff and monitors work, develops staff skills.
∎ Meets regularly with Consultant to discuss technical issues, and yard development activity, trains staff on work methods, procedures, techniques & safety.
∎ Monitors yard activities and operations to verify and enforce compliance with rules and regulations. Maintain environmental compliance; prepares and submits reports as necessary.
∎ Maintains a variety of operational and compliance records, prepares and submits.
∎ Establishing and maintaining working relationships with consultants, scheduling, collecting and compiling data, and preparing reports and other documents.
∎ Internal Audit and Yard preparation for HKC Audit.
∎ To assist with necessary equipment procurements for HKC development.
∎ Ensures training requirements of subordinate staff are met.
∎ Performs other duties as required or assigned

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Assist in Operations, Policies & Procedures of Ship-breaking yard, supervision, scheduling, records management & compliance reporting.
∎ Understanding the operations of the Ship-breaking yard.
∎ Coordinating activities with consultants, BSBA, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Industries & other Govt. authorities/organizations.
∎ HKC (Hong Kong Convention), Ship Breaking and Recycling Rules 2011, and Bangladesh Ship Recycling Act 2018, operations, policies, and procedures.
∎ Workplace safety and security.
∎ Able to work under pressure and handle multitasking activities.

Salary: Negotiable
