Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of regulatory & compliance requirements, particularly BIWTA procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
Willingness to travel and work under pressure.
Must reside in or around Mukterpur, Munshiganj area.
Responsibilities & Context:
Vessel Repair & Maintenance
Supervise all vessel repair and maintenance activities.
Prepare and verify supplier bills with proper documentation.
Obtain approvals from CS and CFO.
Process and follow up on related payments.
Crew Salary & Administration
Prepare monthly salary sheets for vessel staff.
Maintain attendance, leave, and overtime records.
Manage recruitment, leave, and other HR issues for Masters, Drivers, and crew members.
Crew Relations
Resolve operational and personal issues of vessel Masters and Drivers.
Maintain communication with vessel labor organizations.
External Coordination
Liaise with BIWTA, labor representatives, and other external parties.
Handle vessel operation and regulatory issues as needed.
Operational Expenses
Monitor and reconcile expenses for diesel, lube oil, and other consumables.
Incident Management
Investigate vessel accidents and prepare necessary reports.
Coordinate with relevant departments and authorities for follow-up actions.
