Experience:

• B.Sc. in Textile Engineering/Apparel Manufacturing/Knitwear Technology

• Candidates with strong technical knit expertise will be highly prioritized.

Technical Skills Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of Single Jersey, Rib, Interlock, Spandex blends, Polyamide/Elastane fabrics.

• Ability to handle seam performance, SPI, machine setting, feed mechanism, and finishing quality.

• Knowledge of QMS, AQL, RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone, Lean/Six Sigma tools.

• Strong understanding of fit, measurement control, and pattern corrections.

• Digital QA competency (ERP, PLM, Echosys).

Quality Assurance & Technical Review

• Review seal sample, PPS, GS/TOP samples and provide approval with comments.

• Lead Pre-Production Meetings and conduct detailed risk analysis for each style.

• Conduct inline, midline, pre-final and final audits as per ES QAD standards.

• Ensure strict measurement control through flat, hang, and drop tests.

• Monitor shrinkage, spirality, growth, and fabric performance across bulk production.

Technical & Garment Construction Support

• Provide technical guidance for stitch type, SPI, machine settings, feed mechanism, and finishing quality.

• Identify knitting, sewing and finishing risks early and guide factories for corrective action.

• Troubleshoot issues like needle damage, skipped stitch, rib recovery, seam performance, shrinkage inconsistency, etc.

Fit & Pattern Support

• Evaluate size set, fit samples and work with pattern team/factory to ensure fit consistency.

• Validate shrinkage allowances, fabric relaxation and pressing effects on garment measurement.

Root Cause Analysis & CAP

• Investigate buyer complaints, conduct RCA and prepare Corrective & Preventive Action (CAP).

• Follow up factory performance, inline defects, and repeat issues to ensure long-term improvement.

Reporting & KPI

• Prepare PP report, inline audit report and final audit reports in Echosys / digital platforms.

• Track quality KPIs, audit pass rates, shade issues, and CAP closure performance.

Training & Development

• Conduct factory QC calibration, training on knit quality, measurement accuracy, seam/needle guidelines.

• Strengthening factory capability through continuous skill development.
