Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Sr. Executive – Modern Trade to lead sales growth within the Modern Trade (MT) channel. The position is responsible for managing key accounts, driving in-store execution, negotiating trade terms, and strengthening brand presence across modern trade outlets. The ideal candidate must have strong negotiation, leadership, analytical, and communication skills to maximize revenue and market visibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly & annual MT sales targets and execute channel strategies.

  • Manage key accounts (superstores, chain shops, supermarkets & hypermarkets).

  • Ensure listing, pricing, product availability & trade negotiations.

  • Ensure planogram execution, product visibility, and display standards.

  • Monitor merchandising activities and competitor movements through regular market visits.

  • Oversee merchandising teams to ensure brand guidelines are followed.

  • Prepare sales forecasts and monthly plans.

  • Analyze market trends & competitor data; submit weekly/monthly reports

  • Execute in-store promotions, sampling, and consumer offers.

  • Coordinate with marketing for branding materials & activation.

  • Lead the MT sales & merchandising team.

  • Coordinate with logistics, distribution, and accounts for smooth operations.

  • Ensure timely payment collection from outlets.
