Responsibilities & Context:
Fabric Development & Innovation
Research and develop new fabric constructions, blends, and finishes to meet customer and market demands.
Evaluate new yarn types, fiber compositions, and sustainable materials.
Plan and execute fabric trials with knitting/weaving, dyeing, and finishing teams.
Ensure all new fabrics meet performance and quality parameters (GSM, shrinkage, colorfastness, hand feel, etc.).
Garment R&D & Product Development
Collaborate with design, merchandising, and sample departments to develop innovative garment samples.
Experiment with different fabric combinations, trims, washes, and embellishment techniques.
Provide technical guidance during pattern making, sewing, and finishing for new developments.
