Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Masters/ MBA/ BBA from any reputed university
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering from a recognized University (Preferably from BUTex/ AUST, majoring in GMT/ AMT) will be given preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fashion Designing, Merchandising, Production, Textile Engineering
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Gallery, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have experience in Woven / Shirt manufacturing industry.
∎ Follow-up orders with vendors, customer & internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
∎ Follow up on sample developments and production with a high degree of personal responsibility.
∎ Attend buyers meeting, negotiate, secure and execute with the reporting manager.
∎ To monitor & control all orders to ensure all problems and or potential problems are dealt with appropriately.
∎ Co-ordinate with Production Team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.
∎ Coordinate with Planning Manager to determine/fix delivery schedule (date) and sequence of implementing all order in the lines.
∎ Good communication skill in terms of mailing and in-person meeting.
∎ Work closely with QA to ensure best final product. Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
∎ Develop a comprehensive knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-job activities.
∎ Develop detailed knowledge of production costing.
∎ Develops working knowledge of Continuous Improvement, efficiency standards, and safety.
∎ Maintain on time communication with internal and external sources.
∎ Prepares various reports as required.
∎ Performs other duties as required.
∎ Facilitate order pursuits and sourcing options.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Ability to work in a team Capable to manage different Buyers requirement independently Efficiently provide all kinds of support to the group leader from receiving order to final shipment
∎ Possess high sense of responsibility in the order to completion of the assignment
∎ Should be a long term planner
∎ Excellence in English communication.
∎ Good command in Computer.
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ The ability to deliver under pressure
∎ Leadership and team management skills
∎ Candidate should be prepared for long working hours
