Additional Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on airline ticketing, customer care management, and reservations.

  • Experience working with GDS systems (Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus) and web reservation systems.

  • Proficiency in handling end-to-end booking procedures, re-issuing, re-validating, and issuing/refunding tickets.

  • Experience in airlines, travel agencies is highly preferred.

Job Context:

US-Bangla Airlines, the country’s largest private airline is looking for potential candidates to submit applications for the post of Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager- Reservation & Ticketing for its Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). (TripLover, TravelChamp, First Trip, Take Trip)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage both incoming and outgoing calls, as well as emails, ensuring prompt and professional responses.

  • Determine customer needs, clarify information, investigate problems, and offer solutions or alternatives.

  • Handle all email correspondence related to reservations and maintain timely communication.

  • Keep up-to-date travel advisories for international bookings and share relevant information with customers.

  • Regularly report to the Reservation Manager with updates and detailed information.

  • Track and exceed set quotas and goals for customer satisfaction.

  • Manage the entire booking procedure from start to finish.

  • Ensure expertise in re-issuing, re-validating, refunding, and upgrading tickets.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of operating GDS systems (Galileo, Sabre, or Amadeus).
