Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)/ Diploma in Architecture from a recognized university.
Membership with IAB, relevant professional body and footwear retail shop architect will be an added advantage.
3–5 years of relevant experience in architecture, interior design, footwear retail shop development, or commercial projects.
Practical experience in retail shop design, interior design and site supervision will be preferred.
Required Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max/Revit, rendering software and MS Office.
Strong knowledge of architectural design, interior design, construction materials, BOQ and site execution.
Good understanding of footwear retail shop retail space planning, shop display, branding and visual merchandising.
• Creative design ability with strong attention to detail.
Good communication, coordination, problem-solving and project management skills.
Willingness to travel to different Mark Shoes outlets and project sites as required.

Reports To: Head of Retail / Manager – Projects & Development.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare architectural and interior designs, layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D views and footwear retail shop drawings for new project/ outlets.
Develop creative retail shop concepts, façade designs, interior layouts, product display areas, counters, furniture, lighting, signage and fixtures according to brand guidelines.
Conduct site visits, measurements, feasibility studies, and prepare as-built drawings for new, existing and renovated outlets.
Prepare BOQ, material specifications, cost estimates and design proposals for architectural and interior works.
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, vendors and internal teams for shop construction, renovation, refurbishment and maintenance.
Supervise site execution and ensure construction and finishing works comply with approved designs, quality standards, specifications and timelines.
Review and approve contractor/shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups and finishing details.
Ensure effective space planning for product displays, customer movement, cashier areas, storage, staff areas and other retail requirements.
Coordinate with Civil, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Safety and other technical teams for proper integration of services.
Maintain updated architectural drawings, design files, project records, approvals and site documentation.
Identify design and construction issues and provide creative, practical and cost-effective solutions.
Support new outlet development, relocation, expansion, renovation and remodeling projects.
Perform any other architectural, interior design, planning, site supervision and project-related duties assigned by Management.
