Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Journalism, Master of Science (MSc) in Mass Communication & Journalism
∎ The ideal candidates should have a degree (Masters preferred) in Mass Communication and Journalism.
∎ Skills Required: Fluent in written and spoken Bengali-English., highly proactive, Negotiation Persuasion Skills, Problem solving and decision making, Project Implementation, Willing to Travel

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Senior Coordinator/Coordinator- Communication will have a key role in SPPs communication, particularly communication that is web based. In particular they will be involved in a Bangladesh based website, liaison and information to the UK based website and develop new forms of communication such as 'blogs' and the use of social networking sites.
∎ The stories and photos sent to the UK office should follow the annual Marketing Plan, providing UK Social Media and Marketing with photos, information and blogs as highlighted in the plan. A Skype session with the UK office will be made every two weeks at a time convenient to both parties. This is an important part of the communication between the two offices and must not be overlooked.
∎ RESPONSIBILITIES: With the appropriate technical expertise the development of a Bangladesh based website linked to the UK website. This will be specifically aimed at people within Bangladesh for marketing our products locally etc. Liaison across all sections of SPP, so they can be represented in electronic media, will be essential.
∎ Liaison with the Chair of Trustees and webmaster in the UK to ensure that everything is in line with the UK website. To also provide information needed to update the UK website.
∎ Develop an SPP blog highlighting various day-to-day program activities for attracting / updating institutional and individual donors in country and abroad
∎ Writing articles for SPP blog
∎ Sourcing and formatting images
∎ Sourcing articles and images from sources within and outside SPP
∎ Sub-editing and proof reading articles
∎ Taking the minutes and putting together the draft minutes of various meetings as directed by the management
∎ To contribute to planning of an arrangement for SPP events, in particular regarding the branding, design and production of materials
∎ To represent SPP at internal and external events as required
∎ To develop and maintain a well-organized SPP photo library for use across a range of communications forms
∎ As part of the task need to upload day-today life photos in the village, along with captions and hashtags, onto Instagram at least three times a week
∎ To develop, promote and adhere to best practice and to agreed systems and procedures across all areas of work
∎ Be represented in all communication initiatives will be essential.
∎ Others duties as required by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 38 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must be well conversant with the modern communication systems it includes social media, e-learning etc. Must be computer savvy and at least three years practical working experience in the relevant field is required.

∎ Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
∎ After job confirmation will be eligible for other facilities following by SPP HR policy and practices.
