Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in SWE
∎ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science/Technology or Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Upgrade, enhance and migrate SQL server and MySQL server-based application that meets user requirements.
∎ Create, modify and test various SQL queries, stored procedures, trigger and views for obtaining data from diverse source systems and platforms.
∎ Knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, data warehousing strategies, and clustering
∎ Deploy database change scripts provided by third-party vendors.
∎ Document the logical and physical components of operational databases and their functionality during the course of their work.
∎ Understand table indexing and query strategies, database objects maintenance and performance issues.
∎ Analyze problems as assigned and provide solutions to address business needs.
∎ Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to solve database level issues including availability and stability of the database environments
∎ Work with vendors and application support teams to gather information, determine and implement resolutions
∎ Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contentions
∎ work with others, including software engineers, and product managers to build the best products in the industry.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
∎ Should have strong experience in SQL Server, MySQL
∎ Working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQ
∎ Prior working experience in big enterprise-level projects.
∎ Experience in Query optimizations or performance tuning.
∎ Experience with Database up-gradation, enhancement, and migration.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
∎ Good UNIX Shell scripting experience
