Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile Technology, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Apparel Merchandising
∎ Training/Trade Course: Preferable for experience with head and cap industry.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are an export oriented renown Garments Manufacturer, looking for a dynamic, energetic and analytic candidate for the post of "Sourcing Merchandising". The incumbent must have initiative, experience and the drive to deliver high quality results
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate with Europe and America team & any other concerned in order to plan raw materials (Fabric Trims and Accessories) & sourcing as per the requirement.
∎ Should have capacity to source Head and Cap related Fabrics, Trims and Accessories.
∎ Should have knowledge on various CAP along with costing
∎ Should have strong sourcing ability (Fabric, Trims & Accessories)
∎ Negotiate, re-negotiate with the different vendors of Fabric, Trims & Accessories.
∎ Source potential suppliers of Fabrics, trims and accessories on regular basis, evaluating supplier’s performance & proposals through comparative study and preparation of Purchase Orders;
∎ Should have knowledge on commercial activities related to merchandising activities
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by the Authority
∎ Work with the suppliers ahead to develop new fabrics & trims and finishes to reduce lead time
∎ Restock fabrics and trims as needed
∎ Communicate with factories on lab dip, fabric, sample & prototype submission based on set timeliness
∎ Communicate timelines and challenges with the different team
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Extensive previous experience with Head and Cap industry.
∎ Experienced in sourcing & managing local suppliers.
∎ Ensure quality of incoming goods and inventory process on time.
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English both written and speaking.
∎ Should have knowledge on commercial terms and incoterms.
Salary: Negotiable
