∎ BSc. in CSE / ECE / EEE or any related discipline.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
∎ Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
∎ Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
∎ Create and maintain test environments
∎ Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
∎ Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
∎ Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
∎ Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
∎ Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
∎ Monitor debugging process results
∎ Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
∎ Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
∎ Evaluate and report the result of test activities to Test Manager and project or product managers including follow up on problems found
∎ Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have around 6 months of practical experience in the following areas:
∎
∎ Experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
∎ Tester mindset.
∎ Well versed in SDLC and STLC
∎ Have knowledge of testing methodologies and when to use them and how (functional, risk-based, exploratory, etc)
∎ Basic knowledge in Java, Javascript, HTML & CSS
∎ Very good knowledge and experience working with various operating systems
∎ Basic knowledge of Git
∎ Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting.
∎ Knowledge of JIRA is considered an advantage
∎ Good to have knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Jenkins, JMeter
∎ Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
∎ Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
