Responsibilities & Context: 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
A social media manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately, drive business results. This involves creating and curating content, engaging with the audience, analyzing performance, and staying up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.
𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
- 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Creating and implementing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with overall business goals.
- 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Developing engaging content (text, images, videos, etc.) for various social media platforms, managing a content calendar, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive online community.
- 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Planning, executing, and monitoring social media campaigns, including paid advertising and influencer collaborations.
- 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analysing data to measure campaign effectiveness, and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱: Keeping abreast of the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices to optimize strategies and campaigns.
- 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Working closely with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure cohesive branding and integrated campaigns.
- 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Providing regular reports on social media performance, including insights and recommendations.
- 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Managing social media advertising budgets effectively.
- 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Developing and managing relationships with influencers to expand brand reach.
- 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴: Monitoring brand mentions and sentiment across social media platforms.
- 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Providing guidance and training to other team members on social media best practices.
