Education:
∎ Master of Development Studies (MDS) in Social Science, Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in Social Science
∎ Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field (Master’s preferred)

∎ Minimum of 5 years of experience in training, capacity building, or youth empowerment projects.
∎ Experience in working with local government bodies and multi-stakeholder partnerships.
∎ Prior experience in reporting to international donors is an advantage.
∎ Skills:
∎ Strong leadership and team management skills.
∎ Proficiency in developing and delivering skill development training modules.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
∎ Analytical and reporting skills for preparing comprehensive project reports.
∎ Ability to build partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and private sector entities.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to challenging environments.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant digital tools.

∎ Have motivation power to motivate the youths for skill training
∎ Ability to train the youths who are mostly from the rural areas

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead the overall implementation of the Bangladesh Youth Empowerment Project.
∎ Develop and deliver effective training modules tailored to youth skill development and employability.
∎ Ensure the training of 1,000 unemployed youths and facilitate their employment in suitable workplaces.
∎ Provide mentorship and support to project staff to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, partner organizations, and relevant stakeholders.
∎ Monitor and evaluate training sessions and employment outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement.
∎ Prepare and submit periodic reports to donors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
∎ Organize workshops, seminars, and follow-up sessions to enhance youth engagement and program visibility.
∎ Develop comprehensive training modules.
∎ Develop and manage necessary project documentation.
∎ Support management in preparing and reviewing strategic and action plans.
∎ Monitor progress of project outputs among trainers and maintain accurate records.
∎ Align with the strategic direction of the project as needed.
∎ Attend regular organizational meetings and other required gatherings.
∎ Facilitate donor and visitor engagements, including during unconventional hours.
∎ Perform additional duties related to project activities as assigned by management.
∎ The Senior Trainer will lead the implementation of the Bangladesh Youth Empowerment Project at Nilphamari Sadar Upazila. The role focuses on training 1,000 unemployed youth, equipping them with essential skills, and ensuring their placement in factories or companies with decent work conditions. The Senior Trainer will guide and supervise the project team, foster relationships with local government authorities and partners, and ensure the achievement of project objectives. Additionally, the role requires preparing comprehensive reports for donors, partners, and government stakeholders. The Senior Trainer will play a pivotal role in empowering youth, fostering economic growth, and ensuring long-term sustainability of the project outcomes.
