Experience:
Graduates/ Masters in any subject related on agriculture (Agronomy/Horticulture/ Agro-Forestry/Plant Pathology and others) or any relevant subject from reputed institution.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum 3 years of overall experiences in development sector including Agriculture, livelihood and climate change.
Additional Job Requirements:
Sound knowledge of climate change adaptation, climate-smart agriculture, resilient livelihoods, and sustainable agricultural practices.
Good understanding of agricultural extension approaches, climate information services, and farmer advisory systems.
Knowledge of climate adaptation technologies, water management, soil health, and nature-based solutions.
Knowledge of government agricultural policies, extension systems, and relevant development programmes.

Regional Adaptation Clinic is an innovative platform under the BRAC Climate and Environmental Innovation Programme that develops, validates, and scales locally appropriate climate adaptation and environment-friendly solutions. It delivers climate-smart services, promotes resilient technologies, and strengthens partnerships to enhance the resilience and livelihoods of vulnerable communities through BRAC`s ecosystem and external partners.
Job Location: Kalapara, Patuakhali; Batiaghata, Khulna; Morrelganj, Bagerhat; Derai, Sunamgonj; Dewangonj, Jamalpur; Sapahar, Naogaon; Rangamati and Dinajpur.
Job Purpose: To provide technical leadership and field-level support for the effective implementation of climate adaptation interventions through the Regional Adaptation Clinics within the assigned area. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality agricultural advisory and climate information services, promoting the adoption of climate-smart technologies and resilient farming practices, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring quality implementation, monitoring, documentation, and timely achievement of programme objectives.
Job Description:
Provide technical leadership and field-level support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of climate adaptation interventions through the Regional Adaptation Clinics.
Deliver climate-smart agriculture advisory services by disseminating climate and weather information, promoting climate-resilient farming practices, and providing technical guidance to farmers and field teams.
Conduct regular field visits, mobile clinics (VO and non-VO), and technical follow-up to ensure quality implementation of programme activities in accordance with approved technical guidelines.
Plan and facilitate farmer meetings, seasonal training sessions, field demonstrations, and input distribution to strengthen farmers` knowledge and adoption of climate adaptation technologies.
Demonstrate, validate, and promote climate-smart technologies and locally appropriate adaptation practices to support their effective scaling and replication.
Facilitate the integration of microfinance and other financial services with climate-adaptive agriculture interventions to enhance farmers` resilience and livelihood opportunities.
Monitor programme implementation, collect and analyse field data, and ensure timely, accurate documentation, MIS reporting, and knowledge management.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with farmers, community representatives, government extension services, private-sector actors, and other programme stakeholders to support successful implementation.
Identify technical challenges, emerging climate risks, and implementation gaps, and recommend practical solutions to improve programme quality and effectiveness.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
