∎ Fresh graduates with strong motivation and relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to motivate and engage youth participants.
∎ Good organizational and time management skills.
∎ Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
∎ Strong report-writing skills. Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
∎ Understanding of local socio-economic and cultural contexts is a plus.
∎ Willing to work in remote areas.
∎ Have motivation power to motivate the youths for skill training.
∎ Ability to train the youths who are mostly from the rural areas.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support the Senior Trainer in planning and executing training activities.
∎ Assist Trainers in facilitating field-level training sessions for youth participants.
∎ Motivate unemployed youth to actively participate in training and secure decent employment after completion.
∎ Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with local government bodies, community leaders, and partner organizations.
∎ Contribute to the preparation of periodic reports for donors, government agencies, and stakeholders.
∎ Provide logistical and administrative support during training sessions and workshops.
∎ Support in monitoring and evaluation activities to track training effectiveness and outcomes.
∎ Assist in preparing and submitting reports to management, government bodies, donors, and stakeholders.
∎ Bangladesh Youth Employment Consortium (BYEC) aims to empower unemployed youth, especially women, in Nilphamari Sadar Upazila, Bangladesh, by providing specialized training in handicrafts, including weaving, sewing, hand stitching, and hand loom techniques. Implemented by the Father Charles J. Young Foundation (FCJYF) in partnership with Classical Handmade Product (CHP) and in future with more industries the project is designed to enhance local employment opportunities and contribute to economic growth. The program will run from March 2025 to December 2025 (10 months). The project’s duration can be extended based on donor funding and its performance.
∎ The Assistant Trainer will support the Senior Trainer and Trainers in implementing the “Bangladesh Youth Empowerment” Project. The role focuses on training 1,000 unemployed youth, ensuring their readiness for employment in factories or companies with decent work conditions. The Assistant Trainer will facilitate field-level training sessions, motivate youth participants, and contribute to the overall project objectives. This position requires teamwork, engagement with stakeholders, and periodic reporting to ensure project success.
∎ The Assistant Trainer will be responsible for developing and refining training modules and contributing as part of a team to deliver effective training sessions. The role includes monitoring training outcomes, ensuring health and safety standards during training, and supporting strategic planning processes. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to youth empowerment and employment in Bangladesh while developing professional skills in a dynamic project environment.
