Job Summary:
The Director is a senior leadership position responsible for supporting to Executive Director to transform MMS from an organization to an Institution. Towards the Institutional Development the Director will emphasize on the Planning and Development of the organization and will assist Executive Director to implement the organizational development initiatives like Strategic Planning, Institutional Development, Quality Assurance, Compliance Management, Financial Oversight, Impact Analysis and Organizational Sustainability to achieve the organizational goal and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Organizational Review and Planning:
o Develop/Revise Strategic Plan every Five-Year and prepare half-yearly progress report on the strategic planning.
o Mainstream Strategic Planning initiative in the Departmental and Program/Project plan and reports.
o Review program/project specific operational plan.
o Support to develop comprehensive plan and report of MMS by accumulating the Departmental and Program/Project Plans.
o Prepare Business plan and implement the Income Generating Initiatives- Social Business, Training Center, and Farm etc. as of the plan.
o Develop Organizational Annual Report on a yearly basis.
2. Organizational Development:
o Review the existing Policy and Guidelines. Update existing Policy-Guideline aligned with the Strategic Plan and Institutional Development Plan.
o Develop new Policy-Guidelines to strengthening the internal control system as well as the whole organizational system.
o Identify the scopes of establishing Sister Concern of MMS.
o Develop assessment process of downstream partnership for localization of the Social Development initiatives.
o Ensure quality control and compliance with donor and government regulations. Strengthen MIS system, internal control and audit compliance.
o Develop risk management plan to uninterrupted organizational development as well as project implementation.
o Establish the practices of Participatory decision making, accountability, transparency and result-based management.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL):
o Develop practice MEAL systems (Logical frameworks, performance indicator tracking tables (IPTT), monitoring checklist, reporting system and detailed monitoring plan) for each of the interventions of the organization.
o Evaluate whether programs/projects/interventions of the organization are meeting organizational goals and objectives.
o Evaluate whether program or projects are meeting the intended goals and objectives the particular programs or projects.
o Strengthen results-based management and impact measurement systems.
o Facilitate Lesson-Learned Workshops to accumulate best practices and scopes of development for future quality implementation.
o Ensure community participation and accountability mechanisms for all programs/projects/initiatives of the organization.
4. Human Resource Development and Capacity Building.
o Develop capacity development systems for organizational staffs.
o Develop training modules to increase the capacity and efficiency of staffs.
o Ensure Gender, Safeguarding, PSEA, Inclusion and Child Protection Policies are implemented as crosscutting issues of all the programs/project of the organization.
o Maintain zero tolerance for corruption, abuse, exploitation and discrimination.
o Support to stablish and manage secure, accessible complaint and feedback response mechanisms (CFRM) for local communities and beneficiaries
o Salary:-1,49,600 per month for probation period. After completion of probation period salary would be reviewed as of organization structure.
o As a contractual position, all the facilities declared by the MMS HR Policy will be given except PF & Gratuity.
