Experience:
MSc/ BSc in any Subject preferably Agriculture/Soil Science/ Geography/ Environment/ Environmental Science/ Development Studies or related discipline from a reputed institute.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 07 year of experiences in Agriculture related work will get preference.
Additional Job Requirements:
Strong knowledge of climate change adaptation, climate-smart agriculture, resilient livelihoods, water security, nature-based solutions, and community-based adaptation approaches.
Sound understanding of programme and project management, including planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and quality assurance.
Good knowledge of climate risk assessment, adaptation planning, and resilience-building interventions.
Excellent programme planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and operational management skills.

Regional Adaptation Clinic is an innovative platform under the BRAC Climate and Environmental Innovation Programme that develops, validates, and scales locally appropriate climate adaptation and environment-friendly solutions. It delivers climate-smart services, promotes resilient technologies, and strengthens partnerships to enhance the resilience and livelihoods of vulnerable communities through BRAC`s ecosystem and external partners.
Job Location: Kalapara, Patuakhali; Batiaghata, Khulna; Morrelganj, Bagerhat; Derai, Sunamgonj; Dewangonj, Jamalpur; Sapahar, Naogaon; Rangamati and Dinajpur.
Job Purpose: To ensure the effective planning, implementation, coordination, and supervision of Regional Adaptation Clinic activities across the assigned climate hotspot region. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality climate adaptation services, strengthening field operations, promoting the adoption of climate-smart technologies and practices, fostering collaboration with government and local stakeholders, and ensuring the timely achievement of programme objectives through effective leadership, performance management, and quality assurance of field teams.
Job Description:
Lead, coordinate, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Regional Adaptation Clinic, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and results-oriented service delivery across the assigned climate hotspot region.
Provide strategic leadership, supervision, and technical guidance to Area Managers, Senior Sector Specialists, and field teams to ensure the timely and effective implementation of programme activities.
Oversee the delivery of integrated climate adaptation services, including climate information services, farmer advisory support, demonstration plots, promotion of adaptive technologies, capacity-building initiatives, and resilient livelihood interventions.
Ensure the effective implementation and scaling of climate-smart agriculture, water security, nature-based solutions, resilient livelihoods, financial inclusion, and market linkage interventions tailored to local climate risks.
Conduct regular field monitoring, supportive supervision, coaching, and performance reviews to maintain programme quality, strengthen accountability, and improve operational efficiency.
Develop and oversee regional operational plans, annual work plans, implementation schedules, procurement plans, and budgets, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and donor requirements.
Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality documentation, data collection, MIS reporting, knowledge management, and evidence generation to support adaptive programme management and informed decision-making.
Monitor programme performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse implementation progress, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve programme targets.
Facilitate multi-stakeholder coordination platforms to strengthen regional and local climate adaptation planning, innovation, and service delivery.
Lead capacity-building initiatives for staff, master farmers, community facilitators, local service providers, and programme participants through training, mentoring, coaching, and technical backstopping.
Promote innovation by identifying, testing, documenting, and scaling promising climate adaptation technologies, digital solutions, and locally appropriate best practices.
Ensure full compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, safeguarding standards, environmental and social risk management protocols, gender equality and social inclusion principles, financial controls, and operational guidelines.
Prepare high-quality regional progress reports, technical briefs, case studies, lessons learned, and management updates, providing strategic recommendations for programme improvement and informed decision-making.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme`s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
