Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum S.S.C/H.S.C pass with trade course from any reputed training institute.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carries out planned (preventive, predictive, routine and breakdown) maintenance activities on HVAC in accordance with set plans and standard procedures. This includes:
∎ o Receives work order from supervisor and review equipment maintenance history.
∎ o Prepares required work permit(s) and liaises with operations to release equipment.
∎ o Inspects equipment to determine extent of repairs required.
∎ o Prepares requisition for spares and materials and withdraws from local store or arrange delivery from main stores.
∎ o Withdraws necessary tools and arranges transport and any other support services.
∎ o Dismantle, examine and determine HVAC’s faulty components.
∎ o Repairs or replaces damaged parts and reassemble HVAC’s equipment.
∎ o Able to find out leakages and perform required welding.
∎ o Able to solve card related problems and repair/replace the damaged card.
∎ o Able to recharge gas and have clear idea regarding refrigeration gases.
∎ o Tests to ensure operability and reports activities to supervisor.
∎ Participates in major overhaul and shutdown maintenance activities as assigned by Senior Support Engineers. Includes carrying out shutdown preparation, data collection and condition monitoring duties as assigned.
∎ Participates in commissioning of projects and installation of new HVAC system. Includes checking and reviewing commissioning and insurance spares and assisting engineers in preparing reviewing related purchase requisitions.
∎ Prepares hot, cold and other work permits, as required. Obtains necessary approval prior to commencing maintenance and repair activities.
∎ Executes pre/post commissioning inspections of equipment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 20 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Having training from any reputed training center regarding HVAC system repair/maintenance will be an added advantage.
∎ Minimum 5 years’ experience in any gas/power/oil/ fertilizer industry as a HVAC technician will be an advantage.
