∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Software Company, Group of Companies, Banks
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and fine-tune complex SQL queries to ensure optimal performance, reduced execution times, and efficient resource utilization.
∎ Collaborate with software developers and technical leads to design, implement, and maintain database schemas that align with application requirements and performance goals.
∎ Continuously monitor database performance metrics, such as query execution times, resource utilization, and server response times. Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.
∎ Define and implement appropriate indexing strategies to enhance query performance and optimize data retrieval.
∎ Enforce data access controls, encryption, and data masking techniques to protect sensitive information stored in the databases.
∎ Analyze query execution plans and identify opportunities for query optimization. Utilize tools and techniques to restructure queries, optimize joins, and eliminate redundant or unnecessary operations.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database systems, including data models, configurations, and procedures.
∎ Provide technical support to users in investigating and resolving database-related issues, such as data corruption and performance problems.
∎ Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and industry developments.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 26 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL,PostgreSQL, etc.).
∎ Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for database management is a must.
∎ Proficiency in query optimization techniques, query tuning, and performance monitoring is a must.
∎ Expertise in any of the cloud database services (e.g. Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS) is a plus.
∎ A deep understanding of Execution Plans in SQL Server is a plus.
∎ Familiarity with different regulations like HIPAA, GDPR is a plus.
∎ Familiarity with database design principles, data modeling, and normalization techniques.
∎ Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery planning, and high availability solutions is a plus.
∎ Knowledge of database security concepts, access controls, and regulatory compliance.
∎ Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Highly organized and responsible.
Salary: Tk. 80000 - 120000 (Monthly)
