ChefOnline is a UK-based National Online Food Ordering Platform, recognised as a Google Partner Digital Marketing Agency and Meta Business Partner. We enable restaurants and takeaways across the UK with online ordering, EPoS, and digital growth solutions.

The Senior Software Engineer will lead technical development, contribute to architecture, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .Net (Core/MVC) and PHP (Laravel).

• Architect, optimise, and manage relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server).

• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services for seamless system interoperability.

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams for end-to-end solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Contribute to system architecture, technical design documents, and long-term technical strategy.

• Ensure applications are optimised for speed, security, and high availability.

• Stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and development best practices.
