Responsibilities & Context:

We are looking for a proactive, experienced, and customer-focused Senior Service Engineer to lead our service operations and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Service Manager in overseeing day-to-day service operations.

• Supervise Service Advisors and customer service personnel to ensure efficient workflow.

• Monitor job allocation, workshop progress, and timely vehicle delivery.

• Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Coordinate with workshop technicians, spare parts, and other departments for seamless operations.

• Review and approve job cards, repair estimates, and service recommendations.

• Monitor service quality, productivity, and operational performance.

• Ensure proper documentation, warranty compliance, and accurate service records.

• Prepare operational reports and contribute to achieving departmental KPIs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive service operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicles, diagnostics, and workshop operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

• Ability to prepare cost estimates, work under pressure, and efficiently manage multiple service activities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and service management software will be an added advantage.
