∎ At least 2 years of professional experience working in the field level assessments and community engagement.
∎ Working experience with ACF Nutrition and Health interventions will be an added value ·
∎ Strong understanding and field level experience of working with community and stakeholders.
∎ Strong understanding and field level experience on Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition and public health.
∎ Proven experience in supervisor.
∎ The ability to work at  complex and disaster prone areas·
∎ Willing to travel frequently to the field to monitor activities·
∎ Excellent coordination and collaboration skills·
∎ Flexibility and creativity·
∎ Team player with strong capacity to lead;·
∎ Training and staff capacity development skills·
∎ Ability to work under pressure·
∎ Knowledge of informatics: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ENA etc.;

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies, asking questions and/or for support when necessary;·
∎ Implement all work related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of our staff and beneficiaries;·
∎ Ensure the incorporation of gender equity principles in all policies and activities;·
∎ Encourage the participation of all genders in meeting and on committees;·
∎ Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability.
∎ Objective  1: Increase community capability to anticipate, respond and adapt to climate induced health impacts.
∎ Community Engagement and Capacity Building: Lead initiatives to engage with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), local institutions, and stakeholders. Conduct capacity-building programs to empower communities in data collection, early warning dissemination, and understanding climate-induced health risks.
∎ Active Involvement in Protocol Development and Implementation: Assist the development of a community-led protocol for anticipatory actions on health, collaborating closely with local health authorities. Oversee the implementation of draft protocols and frameworks on a larger scale, ensuring effective integration at the community and sub-national levels.
∎ Risk Analysis and Surveillance: Support and actively involve in the comprehensive risk analyses on climate-induced health risks to inform anticipatory actions. Implement community-led surveillance guidelines for monitoring and tracking disease outbreaks and health events, contributing to the overall risk reduction strategy.
∎ Objective  2: Evidence based advocacy for scaling up the best practices of community led adaptation to health impacts of climate change.
∎ Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement: Spearhead advocacy efforts at the community, sub-national, and national levels. Document project outcomes and generate evidence to support advocacy for integrating anticipatory actions on health into official disaster management protocols. Engage in consultations, policy dialogues, and round table discussions with national-level stakeholders.
∎ Project Coordination and Documentation: Coordinate project activities, ensuring effective communication between Community-Based Organizations, local institutions, and stakeholders. Support manager for documenting project progress and outcomes, consolidating information for dissemination. Facilitate workshops and meetings to foster dialogue and build mutual understanding among disaster management committees and healthcare providers.
∎ Objective  ( 3) : Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity ·
