Responsibilities & Context:

BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh in 1972 that partners globally with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty to create opportunities to realise their potential.

This position will be responsible and accountable for assisting to support Project team, assist to organization HR, and finance and procurement team. Also requires, regular update official and field based administrative documents and maintains records keeping of the project.

Programme Support:

  • Assist the legal team in coordinating and managing events/ programs and initiatives.

  • Maintain an up-to-date database of legal cases, contracts, and other legal documentation.

  • Provide support in organizing legal workshops, training sessions, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up communications.

  • PR raising and necessary support to procure goods, materials and others.

  • Documentation of program support and admin-related documents as per sector requirements.

  • Support and maintain up-to-date database for the team on documentation and profiling staff and volunteers.

  • Support in IOU approval for projects and follow up on project reports and MEAL activities.

  • Ensure operational support to the case management team to operate court offices and manage billing.

  • Assist in organizing and providing support for OCC (One-Stop Crisis Centers), post-mortem arrangements, and prison visits, including accompanying refugees to court or camps as needed.

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage and maintain the legal team’s calendar, ensuring timely updates on appointments, training, events, and meetings.

  • Support with official meetings, including logistics, hotel bookings, and travel arrangements on need basis.

  • Maintain smooth inflow and outflow of program documents, letters, and communications.

  • Assist with organizational administrative duties, including tracking expenses, processing bills, and coordinating events.

  • Coordinate with the BRAC government liaison team for needs assessment, RRRC approval, BC visits approval, and RRRC ID cards.

  • Closely coordinate with fleet management for protection team operations in CXB and the field.

  • Follow up with branches, procurement, logistics, IT, MIS, and HR departments to ensure smooth implementation of the sector.

General Support:

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive legal and organizational information.

  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post and as per the needs of the team guided by Project manager and Deputy Project manager.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of program participants, individuals in contact with the organization, and team members from harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA). Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.

  • Practice, promote, and endorse safeguarding policies and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in all actions.

  • Follow safeguarding reporting procedures for any reportable incidents and encourage others to do the same.
