• Diploma in Orthotics & Prosthetics

• Training in higher technology’s like multiple disciplines, advanced materials on relevant field will get preference.

• Age At least 20 years

• Skilled in assessing gait, casting, and using advanced materials (like silicon and multi-hinge devices) to build custom orthotics.

• Communication with empathy and active listening to guide patients through comfortable, personalized fittings.

• Quick to analyze movement issues and adjust complex appliance fittings for the best individual fit.

• Attention to detail in shaping, modifying, and finishing orthotics.

• Trained in machine safety and equipment maintenance to keep the lab running safely and smoothly.

• Works closely with clinical staff and constantly strives to improve orthotic quality.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Orthotic assessment for the patient to make advanced appliances like-KAFO (Knee-Ankle-Foot Orthosis), PTB with Molded insole, Various knee braces, Various Ankle-Foot orthosis with pressure off loading insole.

• Taking cast and modification to prepare appropriate orthosis.

• Set the proper alignment with the weight bearing points for the final finishing.

• Corrected the fitting of appliances according to the dynamic alignment.

• Check the gait during advanced training.

• Final finishing done after the every correction.

• Proper guideline given for maintaining & uses of appliances.

• Maintaining all machineries uses in the workshop.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
