Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Master's or Bachelor degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Sociology, Education, or a related field.

• Training in project management, community mobilization, report writing, etc. will be given preference.

• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Browsing, etc.) is required.

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Development Agency

• Age At least 29 years

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in an NGO or development organization.

• Experience in child rights, gender, community development, or social inclusion will be preferred.

• Working with Char Land people will be an added advantage.

• Must have a genuine interest in child rights, women's empowerment, gender equality, social inclusion and community development.

• Must have the attitude and capacity to work in field level, especially in Char Lands.

• Must have skills in facilitation, report writing and maintenance of documentation.

• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, email and basic digital reporting.

• Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences on working with local communities.

• Must be able to conduct regular field visits to remote and riverine island (Char Lands).• Minimum 5 years of work experience in an NGOs or development organizations.

• Good command in English (written & spoken) focusing on project designing, report writing and day-to-day communication will be preferred.

• Working with Char Land people will be an added advantage.

Amra Kaj Kory (AKK) is a non-governmental development organization that has long been working to improve the living standards of poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged communities having registration with the NGO Affairs Bureau bearing the registration number - 715 and also with the MRA bearing the registration number - 661 The organization has significant experience and contributions in child rights protection, women's empowerment, youth engagement, and socially inclusive development.

AKK, with the financial and technical support of KNH Bangladesh, is inviting applications from skilled, qualified, and experienced Bangladeshi citizens for the following positions under a pilot project currently being implemented.

Contract Duration 18 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend all meetings and trainings organize by KNH related to Self Help Approaches.

• Assist the Project Coordinator in formulating training modules, organize and facilitate training/discussion sessions for the Self-Help Group Members and other participants of the project.

• Implement day-to-day project activities under the guidance of the Project Coordinator.

• Conduct and supervise children's and adolescents' clubs, women's groups, awareness sessions and leadership and life skills programs.

• Regular follow-up with project team members and beneficiaries/project participants.

• Organize and facilitate training sessions, meetings and workshops for team members, self-help group members and other project participants.

• Maintain communication with local teachers, parents and community leaders.

• Maintain records of activities, incident reports and other project documents.

• Assist the Project Coordinator in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual progress reports.

• Supervise the day-to-day works/activities of Community Facilitators and provide suggestions/inputs/guidance instantly whenever and wherever found necessary.

• Critically and carefully observe the child protection issues and report to the Project Coordinator.

• Collect success stories, case studies and photographs and submit them to the Project Coordinator.

• BDT 35,000 (Thirty-Five Thousand Taka) per month
