  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Sociology, Education, or a related field.

• Must have the attitude and capacity to work in field level, especially in Char Lands.

• Must have skills in facilitation, report writing and maintenance of documentation.

• Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, email and basic digital reporting.

• Preference will be given to the candidates having experiences on working with local communities.

• Must be able to conduct regular field visits to remote and riverine island (Char Lands).• Minimum 5 years of work experience in an NGOs or development organizations.

• Good command in English (written & spoken) focusing on project designing, report writing and day-to-day communication will be preferred.

• Working with Char Land people will be an added advantage.



Responsibilities & Context:

Amra Kaj Kory (AKK) is a non-governmental development organization that has long been working to improve the living standards of poor, marginalized, and disadvantaged communities having registration with the NGO Affairs Bureau bearing the registration number - 715 and also with the MRA bearing the registration number - 661 The organization has significant experience and contributions in child rights protection, women's empowerment, youth engagement, and socially inclusive development.

AKK, with the financial and technical support of KNH Bangladesh, is inviting applications from skilled, qualified, and experienced Bangladeshi citizens for the following positions under a pilot project currently being implemented.

Contract Duration 18 months

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, document, implement, coordinate, and supervise all aspects of the project.

• Develop and ensure proper and timely implementation of monthly and annual work plans aligning to the overall project plan.

• Manage and supervise the regular activities (responsibilities) of the Project Officer and Community Facilitators and provide them necessary guidance for effective, efficient and timely implementation of project activities.

• Attend all meetings and trainings organize by KNH related to Self Help Approaches.

• Formulating training modules, organize and facilitate training/discussion sessions for the Self-Help Group Members and other participants of the project.

• Provide training and coaching to team members to develop their skills in line with the project/proposal.

• Ensure effective implementation of activities for children, adolescents, women, youth, and community groups.

• Prepare descriptive and analytical progress reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) as required by KNH and submit them within set deadlines and qualities.

• Coordinate and communicate with local government institutions, community leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders.

• Control expenditure in line with the approved project budget and ensure financial accountability.

• Verify project results by following the Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation (SME) framework.

• Ensure proper implementation and adherence to the Child Safeguarding Policy.

• Timely identification of project risks and develop mitigation plans.

• Maintain documentations - reports, contracts and all other administrative records/documents related to the project.

• Organize, coordinate and facilitate donors’ visit programs in effective and meaningful manner as per the requirements of KNH representatives.



Job Other Benifits:
    • BDT 45,000 (Forty-Five Thousand Taka) per month
