Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Science, preferably in Textile or Apparel Technology.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conducting training and assessing all employees in the department through written exams, audits, and practical demonstrations.
∎ Establishing new standards and increasing the testing capability of the laboratory.
∎ Ensuring 100% accuracy in testing by addressing all internal and external technical queries and conducting daily audits of reports.
∎ Conducting training sessions for new and existing Technologists, Coordinators, and Report Reviewers in accordance with AATCC, ISO, BS, EN, ASTM, CPSC, and other recognized industry standards.
∎ Assisting in ensuring proper corrective actions are taken in response to internal quality audits, buyer audits, or any relevant audits in the respective department.
∎ Conducting timely calibration, verification, and maintenance of measuring and test equipment.
∎ Ensuring proper maintenance of the Uncertainty of Measurement for test methods and equipment.
∎ Updating equipment records with accurate acceptance, calibration, withdrawal, or breakdown information.
∎ Preparing the lab for audits and implementing appropriate corrective actions based on audit findings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 34 years
∎ ISO/IEC 17025 Certification.
∎ Basic Training in Calibration & Measurement Uncertainty.
∎ Soft Skills: Creativity and Innovation, Presentation Skills, Communication Skills, Decision Making Skills.
∎ Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, Strong Writing Skills.
∎ Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office.
