Expertise in FMCG procurement and sourcing methods, with a keen ability to evaluate and respond to market dynamics.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Ability to make sound business decisions backed by numerical insights.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong office management skills.
Responsibilities & Context:
Accountable for sourcing and purchasing heavy & light equipment and related components.
Identify and assess vendors/suppliers to confirm they meet the organization’s quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Source and review quotations from different reliable vendors to ensure compliance with quality and quantity requirements.
Communicate and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and ensure effective execution
Prepare, maintain, and monitor purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
