Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Act as a bridge between MEAL Manager and programme, and support programme teams at all times.
∎ Collect quality data by following survey guidelines during field visits and document learnings to disseminate it at the branch/district level.
∎ Assist with research methodology, sampling, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
∎ Coordinate with field-level programme personnel during monitoring and assessment exercises and actively participate in training and orientations.
∎ Process and submit data regularly using ODK or KoBo Toolbox as per designed questionnaires.
∎ Enhance the programme team's capacity to implement effective feedback and response mechanisms for participants in the field.
∎ Keep tabs on monitoring findings, gather relevant evidence and communicate it with the programme.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
∎ JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Officer will be responsible for implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems, collecting data, ensuring data quality, reporting, and supporting the programme to improve quality at the field level. Primarily, the individual will act as the main liaison between the programme and BRAC MEAL, providing technical assistance in monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning.
