Job Responsibilities:
∎ Upgrade Factory Efficiency and Method Improvement.
∎ Study the upcoming styles and prepare the machines and attachment accordingly
∎ Review the style changeover data and take action for quick changeover
∎ Simplify/ Deskill the process and reduce SMV by method study and automation
∎ Work with Supermarket team for input arrangement
∎ Review the barriers and improve the 6S
∎ Ensure a very significant role to increase productivity with the standard by using industrial engineering tools & GSD
∎ Apply statistical methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine garments manufacturing process, staff requirements and production standards
∎ Increase productivity and efficiency through Method Study, Method Re-engineering, Motion study, Time study, Line balancing
∎ Calculate non-productive time, reduce defect and wastage, perfect machine layout
∎ Reduce work in process (WIP) and find bottlenecks and quality- related issues
∎ Fill up the key performance indicator (KPI) target
∎ Reduce man-machine ratio, production planning, and implementation
∎ Calculate SMV and prepare SMV bank, training of workers etc.
∎ Set the target and make a draft, layout design of the machine requirement, material flow, and workstation to bring the best possible efficiency. Modern tools are used to design the layout
∎ Monitor factory performance in term of quality, delivery, cost-efficiency, and target improvements with the internal factory team and taking necessary corrective action
∎ Find out the causes and remedies of manufacturing wastes and loss to take necessary steps in all operating areas
∎ Keeping updated with all the information of the area assigned & maintain daily IE related reports
∎ To initiate lean manufacturing technology
