∎ Candidate with textile or fashion merchandising background will be given preference.
∎ Candidate having experience in handling brands like Falabella, DeFacto etc. will be given preference.
∎ Candidate should have thorough experience in handling Denim products.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Product Development: Collaborating with design teams to translate creative concepts into practical, market-ready products. Provide input on fabric selection, garment construction, and finishing details.
∎ Costing: Preparing costing sheets with all the necessary breakdowns.
∎ Production Management: Monitoring the sample submission and approval process. Oversee the production process of garments, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
∎ Supplier Relations: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and products.
∎ Quality Control: Implementing rigorous quality control measures to ensure all garments meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
∎ Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
∎ Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior merchandisers and cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
∎ Marketing: Maintaining and developing relationship with existing and potential customers. Should have proper marketing skills to on-board a new brand when there is an opportunity.
