∎ Skills Required: Computer Operating, Costing, Merchandising, Spoken English

∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Textile, Merchandising
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling and monitoring the entire process from development to shipment.
∎ Making strategy to grow the business in Bangladesh
∎ Supporting suppliers to develop right product with right price based on either trend received from brands or inspiration from best sold styles on previous collection.
∎ Supporting suppliers on sourcing raw materials (fabric, trims, padding etc).
∎ Pushing & supporting suppliers to come up with new styles with shorter lead-time continuously (express module).
∎ Ensuring that the suppliers are well prepared for seminars and individual meetings with buying teams.
∎ Ensuring that the suppliers are following the buying calendars correctly & acting accordingly.
∎ Negotiating prices and lead-time with suppliers.
∎ Managing production capacity of the suppliers.
∎ Production & sales sample follow up based on critical path and keep buying team updated.
∎ Follow up all kinds of sample (proto, photo, shipment etc.) requirement from buying team.
∎ Close cooperation with the Merchandising Manager and be supportive by coming up with new initiatives and help to implement them in the team.
∎ Ensure to plan and be proactive on each assignment, project or meeting in order to always be well prepared
∎ Other Requirements:
∎ Come up with solutions in cooperation with supplier and buyer if challenges may occur.
∎ Ensure smooth management of all challenges in a fast and professional way;
∎ Ensure a professional relationship to suppliers as well as buying teams.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Knit, Woven, Denim, Merchandising, Textile Engineering.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Manufacturing (FMCG)
