Job Responsibilities:
∎ Running regular checks on network, systems and data protection & security
∎ Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
∎ Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
∎ Designing training programs and workshops for staff as scheduled
∎ Conducting regular system monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting and auditing
∎ Running and sharing regular operational system reports with HOD
∎ Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
∎ Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
∎ Providing direction for IT team members and team coordination’s
∎ Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
∎ Coordinates, and controls all projects related to selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems for the hospital and take approval from HOD.
∎ Negotiates IT service level agreements with user organizations and monitors IT systems performance to assure service levels are being met.
∎ Researches and evaluates alternatives for the enhancement or re-engineering of IT.
∎ Develops, coordinates and manages the incorporation of enhancements to and re-engineering of hospital systems, in keeping with the needs and objectives of the enterprise.
∎ Provides quality of service to end users in needs analysis, solution recommendation, vendor selection, implementation, training, and post-installation support.
∎ Ensures that enterprise information systems operate according to internal standards, external regulatory standards and legal requirements.
∎ Develops and enforces policy and procedures to ensure the protection of enterprise IT assets and the integrity, security and privacy of information maintained by the enterprise with help of HOD.
∎ Develops and maintains an enterprise-wide business recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services in the event of a disaster.
∎ Responsible for monitoring IT activities and costs as related to the overall utilization of resources required to meet programmatic operational requirements.
∎ Develops and maintains the annual operating and capital budgets for company information and technology systems.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Proven experience as Manager IT in an Information Technology department or relevant role with 5 plus years in a hospital or any corporate organization
∎ Professional Certification of MCSE/ CCNA/ CCNP/ ITIL/ PMP
∎ Understand hospital/ clinical and business functions in the area of Information Technology and Telecommunication in a large hospital environment
∎ Good command of management report writing and vendor/supplier management capabilities
∎ Strong knowledge and handling capabilities for team management and coordination
∎ Ability to achieve tasks on time and ability to role as quick learner
